(Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene)CSM
Chlorosulfonated polyethylene, also known as CSM, is a type of elastomer with a fully saturated main chain and pendant group, and can be vulcanized by any type of crosslinking agent. The so-called CSM vulcanization has excellent ozone resistance and weatherability due to its unique molecular structure.
Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM), also known as Hypalon, is a versatile synthetic rubber with several key properties and applications:
- Excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering
- High resistance to oils, chemicals, and extreme temperatures
- Good abrasion resistance and mechanical strength
- Low water absorption
- Good color stability under high temperatures and UV exposure
- Wire and Cable Sheathing
- Hoses and Belts
