(ChloroSulfonated Polyethylene)CSM

Chlorosulfonated polyethylene, also known as CSM, is a type of elastomer with a fully saturated main chain and pendant group, and can be vulcanized by any type of crosslinking agent. The so-called CSM vulcanization has excellent ozone resistance and weatherability due to its unique molecular structure.

Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSM), also known as Hypalon, is a versatile synthetic rubber with several key properties and applications:

  • Excellent resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering
  • High resistance to oils, chemicals, and extreme temperatures
  • Good abrasion resistance and mechanical strength
  • Low water absorption
  • Good color stability under high temperatures and UV exposure
  • Wire and Cable Sheathing
  • Hoses and Belts
