    (Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) SBR

    Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR) is one of the most widely used synthetic rubbers in the world. It is produced from the copolymerization of the two monomers styrene and butadiene and has properties similar to natural rubber.

    SBR Production Method

    SBR production is carried out in two ways: emulsion and solution. In the emulsion method, styrene and butadiene monomers are emulsified in water and then mixed with a polymer initiator. This method is the main method for producing SBR.
