(Isoprene Rubber) IR
Cariflex™ Isoprene Rubbers (IR) are high molecular weight, anionically polymerized polyisoprene materials that offer the same processing capabilities as natural rubber, including vulcanization. These rubbers stand out by combining the essential qualities of natural rubber, such as excellent mechanical properties and low hysteresis, with superior attributes like high purity, excellent clarity, good flow, low gel content, absence of nitrosamines, and no natural rubber proteins. Available as bales or latex, Cariflex IR polymers are ideal for a wide range of applications.
- Anti-vibration mounts
- Drive couplings
- Tires
- Springs
- Bearings, and adhesives.
