Aliphatic Solvents
Aliphatic alcohols or aliphatic alcohols are chemicals that are non-aromatic hydrocarbons. These substances include straight carbon chains, branched chains, and non-aromatic rings. Aliphatic alcohols are usually produced by the decomposition of petroleum liquids and are used in various industries, including the paint, petrochemical, and chemical manufacturing industries, due to their special properties such as high volatility and weak odor.
Aliphatic products are an important component of MOL Group’s specialty gasoline segment. The company offers three types of aliphatic solvents with different boiling points, including Dunasol, normal hexane and white spirit. These solvents are used in a wide range of applications due to their special properties.
Application:
Paint industry: Used in the production of wax oils and paints.
Petrochemical: Used in the production and refining of chemicals.
Production of chemicals: use in the production of various chemicals such as esters and ethers.
Packaging industry: Used in the packaging of consumer and industrial products.
Fuel: Used as a clean fuel in alcohol engines and as an additive to fossil fuels.
