Adhesives Rubber
Adhesive chemistry essentially defines the physical and mechanical properties of systems, including adhesion. To form long-term bonds, the chemistry of the adhesive must match the adhesive and the surface. Therefore, the chemical composition has a significant impact on adhesion. There are four known types of adhesion: surface adsorption and reaction, mechanical interlocking, mutual penetration, and electrostatic attraction. Most of these are related to adhesive adhesion and can be enabled by the chemical composition of the adhesive systems.
